Chain Drag Conveyor with Inset Positive Lift Chain Transfer

Designed to move loads up to 700lbs, this custom painted Roach CD280 chain drag conveyor is built with an inset positive lift chain transfer, diamond tread top plate and a Lexan chain guard window.

Chain drag conveyors are the most effective and efficient way to move heavy-duty loads and bulk materials. Chain drag conveyors are best suited for products with unusual conveying characteristics such as pallets or large rigid containers.

CD280 Specifications

Frame: 7 gauge formed boxed channel.

Carrier Chain: 82' No. 80 flat bar chain.

Wear Strip: UHMW long lasting wear strip, upper and lower.

Chain Centers: 24"

Chain Take-Up: Screw type located at tail end.

End Drive: Allows one-direction (unit) operation; add optional center drive for reversible application.

Chain Speed: 15 FPM constant.

Bearings: Heavy duty, lubricated, ball bearing unit with cast iron housings.

Capacity: Unit load not to exceed 3000 lbs.

Motor Drive: 3/4 HP, 230/460/3, – 60 cycle, Super "E" right angle gear motor.

Electrical Controls: Optional.

CT360 Specifications

Transfer Arm: 7 gauge formed channel.

Transfer Chain: No. 80 flat side bar (model CT380) or No. 60 flat side bar (model CT360) chain.

Standard Lengths: 3', 4', 5', 6', 7' and 8' unit lengths.

Chain Centers: 18"

Chain Take-Up: Screw type.

End Drive: Allows one-direction (unit) operation; add optional center drive for reversible application.

Lift: Pivot type.

Bearings: Heavy duty, lubricated, ball bearing unit with cast iron housings.

Chain Speed: 15 FPM constant.

Motor Drive: 3/4 HP, 230/460/3, – 60 cycle, Super "E" right angle gear motor.

Capacity: Unit load not to exceed 3000 lbs.

Air Controls: Air bag(s) with single solenoid valve. (60-80) psi required.

Cutouts: Required through conveyor frame transfer mounts in when using end drive; may be required by application for center drive transfers also.
