Operators can overload feeder bowls. With too much part weight added to the vibratory feeder bowl, it can cause the bowl to essentially go dead. Too many layers of parts can cause parts to stick between the tracks of the bowl.
We recommend including Feeding Concepts auxiliary hoppers with bowl feeding systems. An auxiliary hopper consists of the base drive, stand, and hopper bin. There are also belt driven hoppers which do not require electromagnet coils.
The hopper dispenses parts into the bowl. The bowl level control switch regulates the hopper so it does not overload.
We offer many styles of auxiliary hoppers that can be customized to meet your specifications. Depending on the quantity of parts you want to load at a time you can order anywhere from 1/2 to 6 cubic foot hoppers. Larger hoppers are available using an elevator-style floor feeder.
