Ultra Clean Conveyors for Cleanroom and ESD Applications
Shuttleworth Slip-Trak ultra clean conveyors are developed specifically for cleanroom and ESD applications.
Slip-Trak is a safe and quiet ultra clean conveyor system, certified and designed to be compatible with Federal ISO class 5 cleanroom standards designed specifically for medical and electronic industries. The Slip-Trak frame encases the entire drive train, stopping the transmission of particulates to drive mechanisms and can also be designed to reduce surface electrostatic discharge (ESD) to less than 5 volts.
The open-bed version of Slip-Trak provides product edge drive with a fully open bed for optimal airflow. A separate line shaft drives each side of the conveyor and each, along with drive belts, bushings, and bushing holders, is fully enclosed in an evacuation chamber to eliminate airborne particulate contamination.
The through-shaft version of Slip-Trak uses and encloses only one line shaft in an evacuation chamber along with drive belts, bushings, and bushing holders. Products are edge-carried on segmented rollers and the balance of the bare stainless steel shafts extend across the width of the conveyor bed, only minimally affecting clean room airflow.
