Pearson's RRCE Random Robotic Case Erector reliably forms of up to six case sizes at speeds of up to 10 cases per minute in a single cell. This robotic case erector is flexible enough to accommodate multiple case sizes within a minimal footprint, randomly selecting the right case.

The RRCE eliminates the need for multiple erectors, which saves valuable floor space and costly changeover time. A vacuum end-of-arm tool uses articulated motion to pick and peel open cases, while the sealing station auto-adjusts to the case height and width.

Advanced features such as non-contact interlocks, CAT-3 Safety Circuits and an easily accessible grace port are standard on the cell. And, the cell comes with Pearson's user-friendly HMI and remote access capability. Ergonomic magazines can be reloaded without halting production.

Random Case Selection: Easily-programmable pick sequence based on priority and quantity selections.

Miss-Pick Prevention: The knockdown pick-off uses an articulated motion to peel blanks off the magazine reducing required pull force to avoid miss-picks.

Reliable Opening of Knockdowns: A dual opposed vacuum force reliably opens the knockdown by grasping the case from both sides simultaneously to prepare the case forming.

Consistently Square Cases: Synchronized dual chain drive transports case through closing and sealing section ensuring completed cases are square as they exit the machine.

Flexible Addition of Magazines: Up to three dual stacked powered magazines support ergonomic restocking without disrupting production.

Zero Minute Changeover: Multiple magazines and random picking eliminate the need for changeovers.

Highly Reliable Non-Contact Interlocks: Eliminates misalignment of guard door interlocks which prevents problems common to keyed interlocks.

Safety Redundancy with CAT 3: Dual channel safety circuit maintains integrity of safety features in case of single component failure.

Easily Accessible Grace Port: Grace ports provide convenient communication access and 110V convenience outlet at the outside of the machine’s electrical cabinet.

Convenient Dual Access to the Machine: A remote operator station enables machine control on both sides of the conveyor.

Remote Access Capability: Allows Pearson’s support team on-demand access to the equipment's PLC and HMI through a secure VPN connection via an eWON router (ISECOM STAR and ISO27001 certified) to support emergency troubleshooting and reduce on-site visits.

Upgrade Options

Additional Dekka 23 Soft Touch Tape Head: Tape sensing and tape assist are offered separately.

Lighted E-Stop: Emergency stop light flashes when the button is depressed and both e-stops are lighted. Light only flashes on the e-stop that is depressed.

Tape Sensing: Sensors detect fail-to apply, fail-to-cut and low tape situation.
